Battlefield 3 Alpha Trial FAQ
As some of you may know there is an alpha trial starting soon and we are now releasing a offical FAQ about what this is.
OBS! This is not an closed/open beta so we will not openly give out keys. Read the FAQ before asking any questions please.
Question: What is the Battlefield 3 Closed Alpha Trial?
Answer: It is a highly tech focused test period where the main purpose is to do a number of server related tests in preparation for game launch requiring a set amount of players online to ensure the final experience is as much fun and easy as possible.
Q: Is this the Beta promised to buyers of Medal of Honor: Limited Edition?
A: No, this is an Alpha Trial, meaning this software is still not at the “Beta” development milestone. The Open Beta will start in September. The exact date for when Medal of Honor: Limited Edition players can join the Beta will be announced at a later date.
Q: Can I join the Battlefield 3 Closed Alpha Trial?
A: The Alpha is a closed test and by invitation only. If you’d like to have a chance to be called upon make sure to register for our newsletter and ensure your Veteran status is up to date.

This show is actually awesome since it shows you behind the scene of developing BF3!
Sharqi and Oman concepts!
The Battlefield blog posted 2 new concepts from 2 of the maps I am working on atm, Gulf of Oman and Sharqi Penisula.
I have set up all the different game modes on them the last couple of days and are preparing to start playtesting them really soon.
Remember that these are concepts that we use for lightning and feeling, object placements is not necessary final =)
