Good morning!

In a future update we will add more Gun master weapon lists for admins to select from.

What I am doing right now is looking into what players would like to play and select from and I want your own lists posted as comments in this thread!

We will still keep the normal list that we have today and add a reversed one but no major changes will be done to it after Armored Kill that removes the MK3A1 frag rounds with flechette shells.

Ground rules

  • 5- 17 weapons
  • Last level should be the knife
  • 1-x kills per level but same number throughout the list except last 2

This is your chance to make your ideas heard and I want to make the lists you want to play so fill up the comment section with them!

    i think this list is good cause there are some nasty weapons but also weapons which are easy to kill with

    When I first heard about Gun Master I was so hoping that it will be like in CS 1.6 Gun Game, ie. every time you kill someone with a knife (not the last kill, but when you still running with a gun) you are instantly promoted/leveled up to next weapon. It acts like instant 2 frags, BUT the guy who has been knifed is losing his current gun and he have the previous one. It acts like losing 2 frags. In CS 1.6 it was so fun running and risking a knife kill to level up to next weapon faster and in the same time downgrading the other guy. I’m pretty sure this change is to big to implement in 1 week though.

    I think the best variant is reverse gun game, where you progress from the easy to use weapons to the hard ones and get a random weapon from a category. Something like this:
    1. Any pump action shotgun
    2. Any semi-auto shotgun
    3. Fast-firing PDW (PP-19 or MP7 or M5K or P90 or AS VAL)
    4. Slow-firing PDW (UMP-45 or PDW-R or PP-2000)
    5. Fast-firing assault rifle (AEK, F2000, FAMAS)
    6. Slow-firing assault rifle (AK-74 or SCAR-L or G3A3)
    7. Fast-firing carbine (M4A1 or MTAR or A-91)
    8. Slow-firing carbine (SCAR-H or AK-74U)
    9. Magazine fed LMG (L86 or RPK-74 or whatever)
    10. Belt fed LMG (M60 or M240 or PKP)
    11. Semi-auto sniper
    12. Bolt-action sniper

    Though this list doesn’t contain horrible weapons like Jackhammer + frag rounds, so if you’ve joined late you can’t win.

    we (server admins) don’t need predefined weapon lists!!!
    We want to determine the level of the weapon itself!
    Let us choose the weapons for each level so it varies more!

    What Łukasz Palka posts is just what is missing right now. When you would been knived you lose one level and when you are kniving than you level up directly!

    If you don’t accept this proposal, it should at least give an inverted Gunmaster.

  13. I also think that there should be the possibility to manage the list if you are the server-Admin!
    eg.: Minimum weapons to use:5 Max: 17
    Then you should be able to set how many kills per weapon.. (1-10) or maybe more ;)
    This would be a great improvement on how to play gungame. I would love to go on my favorite server with these possibilitys! If i could set up my own server like this, id even think of getting my own server!

  32. I think random Weapons would be the most fun (of course everybody the same weapon at same Level but from game to game random choose wich weapon) but same weapon typs at the level like it is now. for example

    I think the best experience are Random Weapons in locked groups, best with Random attachments! (That will be a real GunMaster Challenge for Masters xD )

    Guns 1-2 are all slowfireing pistols/pdws to ensure people just joining would not immidatly be facing an AeK while still equipped with a single fire pistol.

    the srongest weapons are arranged in slots 3-9 where the majority of players will spend the match, evening the field for them against the stronger players above

    final weapon is M320 smoke as it provides a greater challange than automatic weapons while not being unusable like the LVG. plus on the close quarters maps smoke creates a very interesting dynamic (particurily on scrapmetal due to its narrow walkways)

    vairy sights and attachments as you wish, however increased magnifaction scopes on the LMG’s and high rate of fire are unplesant to use. both pp2000 and PDW-R have nice clear iorn sight pictures. A nice balance between kobra and RDS sights should suit most people for most weapons.

    could just leave out m320 smoke also if you wish, not really nessacary.

    I put the weapons in any order , but maybe starting from highest RPM to lowest RPM would create some kind of order , the 14th weapon would be a class specific weapon , for engineer the 14th weapon could be an RPG , for support it could be a claymore , for recon it could be a MAV (lol) I realise that not all classes have 13 primary weapons so maybe the difference could be made up with PDWs and Shotguns. For the recon class it would be fun to use the bolt action rifles and semi-autos with just iron sights
