Well, I’ll ask my favorite question… How REAL is BC2?

Becawse I have seen some strange stuff on the videos.
1) Minigun destroys a MBT (Real minigun cannot penetrate tank’s armor)
2) BC2 still has those lenghty unneded moves in the reload animations of the weapons. (stop balansing the guns! God! Make them different, so the player will choose what he needs in certain situation!)
3) I have seen a made-up AA tank, whitch does not exist IRL (real AA tank of this type has a different chassis)
4) some other stuff that I can’t remember right now…

P.S. I will be very happy to help you with the balansing factors!!!!
Who knows, maybe if DICE can make BC2 real enough, It will destroy Operation Flashpoint!

I am a weapon specialist, this is why I seek authenticy in video-games! I want to use different types of weapons with their NATURAL flaws. and not made up by someone!

Why don’t you understand, this is NOT a realistic game. Mather of fact, it’s even FAR from that! You know why? Because Battlefield focuses on fun, and the only way you can have fun in a war game is by having a balance in the game.

You can create a balance by making the weapon damages equal. If you like realism, go play Project Reality mod of BF2 or go play Operation Flashpoint 2 ! (or ArmA 2). You can’t compare these games with Bad Company 2, is that so hard to see or understand?

Don’t get me wrong, I really like your ideas. I’m more into realism than you are, but this game isn’t the right game for realism, they even don’t seek for that! If I want to play a realistic game, then I play ArmA, or AA2 or OPF2 or mods for BF2. If I want to have fun, then I play Battlefield!

stop sayng stoupid thing the realistic level of bf2 was just fine and fun to play.

HELICOPTER ROPE IDEA
when the helicopter is very hi at the sky the player will bail out on parachoute

when the helicopter is 15 meters from the ground pressing B (xbox360) will make the player get down from a rope

when the helicopter is 3 meters from the ground player will just jump out.

DONT FORGET TO ADD attack here-defend here sumbols
A for A squad
B for B squad
C for C squad

the letters must be seen from all the friendly squads so tthey know what the friendly squad is doing (if no commader is avaliable on xbox360)

I know you really can’t talk about the other 2 game modes, but can you tell us if it’s good? All I know that it’s squad-specific and is focused on teamwork. This make me really happy because I felt that past bf games never really forced teamwork. I hope these new modes make you stay in a squad and can’t go lone wolf. Every squad working together is the name of the game. I still don’t know what to expect.

Dude chillax, I do play other games too duh.
OF2 comes out in september (I think), so I’ll definatly get it.
The thing that I’m not happy with this game is becawse DICE promises that the game will be SERIOUS! But they don’t clearly say what are they meaning by saying that! And all I see on the videos is some stupid s**t going on! (Damn! Now you made me say ugly words!)

Serious doesn’t mean Realistic. Battlefield has always been part realistic and part arcady. A mix of both is what makes battlefield great.

And by serious I think they meant that they are making the game bigger, deeper, and better.

If you seek authenticy and 100% realism you need to look for a simulator, and not even OPF is close to realism in that way.

Battlefield is all about fun but we try and keep things as real as possible, but if we need to modify it top make the gameplay more fun we will do it without hesitating =)

If you fired a lot of real weapons in real life as I have done you would know that making weapons behave like they do in reality would be boring, it’s to easy to shoot with a lot of weapons

I think the other game modes are fun and really focus on squad gameplay which I like.
So sticking together and helping each other out is the key.

BC2 feels really great and gives a new feeling to FPS gaming.

I dont know about a beta but it seems like someone have been talking about it, would be fun to what the feedback would be!

why not make a different game mode for the “truth seekers” like me?
This way BF can be fun for ALL people! Not just fans of arcade shooters will be happy with the arcade feel, bur also the sim fans can play your game without spitting all over the screen =)

It would be also fun, If a player can make a private lobby for inviting friends (or some random people) and in this mode he can customise weapon effectiveness using sliders! (giving a pistol that can kill a tank will be fun for arcade fans, and sim fans can make sim-like weapon damage effects, vehicle HP and other stuff) Also he can include or exclude those weapons or vehicles from his match!

What do you think about this?
As I said before, BC has a huge potensial. This game can give joy to all people! Just include different game modes and everybody will be happy! Imagine how popular it will be! Give players the freedom of choosing and the crowd will love it!
