Battlefield games are not accurate. They don’t focus on reality or aesthetics. Developers just make them “fun”… but it seems I don’t understand this “fun”.
RPG-7 does not have homing abilities.
Soldier uniforms have mistakes.
Weapon models have mistakes.
Weapon function have major flaws.
I can show other things, but I’m getting tired looking at how “serious” they are making a game…

In ckopit pilot poushing LB+RS up the pilot looking down instead of looking up?(standard controls) try to folow aan enemy plane poushing RS up and the plane starts folowing the other plane
when the enemy plane slips of screen you must folow it, but if at the same time you whant to look at it you have to push RS down. that means the opssite direction of the direction the plane is moving.try it out

im not talking for the aattack defence sign all the friendly squads have to see so they will know what the friendly squad is doing
hot zone is stoupid or for babys its like saying

its descasting how the boss try to simplyfy the game play

BC2 is a really awesome game.
I would play that before any other competition any day, not trying to promote just because I work at DICE but the game is really good.

I’m not 100% sure that the outfits in the video is the ones in the multiplayer mode. I am pretty certain that the red “hat” is not used in MP =)

I cant say for sure about the one shot tanks, but not from the front as in the video =)
But that IFV was “tagged” also, giving the rocket an extra boost =)

The reason for what you are listing is that it is a game, not a simulator =)

We make changes within out games as we think it’s fits.
the RPG is only “homing” if the vehicle is tagged, which dosen’t happen to often when you play.

True, I’m not on the BC2 team but I do help them out sometimes with specific tweaks and designs =)

Multiplayer mode gave me a nervous breakdown also.
With all those crazy sadistic moment…. It’s still feels wrong, even after 6 months of not even looking at BC. That game is simply bad…

It’s not going to be released in september but next year is what I have been notified.

Not because we are “lazy”, we are working hard on it but we need to add some techincal features so you dont have to have a super computer to run it, support a broader audience etc including different DX versions.

And because frostbite never been on the PC before and neither PS3 or X360 uses the “PC DX versions” “we”(BF1943 team) is taking the responsibility to make FB work on PC as good as any other game.

Please Gustav, I need to get this out off my chest. Will BC2 have more than 32 players? To me 40 players is ideal, it would work for infantry and vehicles, big maps and small maps. All this time I though BC2 PC will have more players than consoles, but recently on the forums ppl have been saying even DICE members that the FB engine takes more bandwidth and therefore the PC can suffer as well.

I mean if you guys keep updating and improving the FB engine, does that mean each time we are going to get smaller player counts. Most games on BF2 were on average 40 players, not 64. 32 seems to be a little low for pc. 32 on vehicles maps tend to be slower paced, than say 40 or 48 players.

I think your wrong, thats why I’m asking. I’ve been reading on the UK forums about the player count on PC and they said it wont be as high as other bf game due to bandwidth problems. In the G4 interview with Gordon,it said 1943 will be 32 players only. So if 1943 is 32 then BC2 would be the same, right? Also I think it was Repii or Demize who came on and asked “32 isnt enough?” So I’m really confused, no one has given me a direct answer, thats why I’m asking Gustav. My ideal player count is 40, it works for infantry, with vehicles, etc.

If you play BF1943 you might notice that the pacing is high/good even with 24 players so I dont see any problem with having 24 or 32 players for good pacing.
It’s all about the level and gameplay design to make it feel right, not the number of players! =)

We already stream textures, been doing it for years so if any COD is slow

And there is abig difference between Battlefield and COD. battlefield have 14 vehicles alive at the same time and 24 players on big open levels where everything can be desctruted!

COD have 24 players on small levels, no vehicles, no desctrution. So thats why they might be ablöe to put more processor power into some new shaders.
