I don’t hope so, sorry.
I hope that BF3 will be a PC only game, bringing back skill and motivation to PC online gaming.
A huge community is eagerly waiting for this.
You simply can’t do a complex game for consoles, your amount of buttons on the controllers simply don’t allow it.

Yep, and to add to that they dont “need” the console (ps3).
everyone is moving to digital media now, and lets be honest, they OWN digital media on PC.

Nice reading, But I cant give you any technical answers I’m sorry.
But it is very true that Sony have said they did made the platform hard to develop for, dont ask me why, seems like a weird thing to do =)

But developing for the PC and X360 is pretty much the same thing, but then making it for the PS3 is a whole new platform which makes the development cost go up really high.
But games will become better and better on the PS3 (and x360) the more games the company makes.

I think the reason that Valve is not supporting the PS3 themself is that they went really late into the console generation since they didnt focus anything on console before the orange box. And now since PS3 is the console with the least customers right now and that it is very expensive for them to kick start the PS3 development now they just dont do it.

I honestly hope its for consoles as well. I mean as long as PC gets its proper version, let us console guys get a taste as well!
