yup nice vid….so glad to see a medic class and shock paddles! w00t
only thing i dont like is the regen health…i mean you have a medic class so should just add healing ability to them. i loved the ability to throw medic packs in bf2 but the hold out to heal only was also fine in BF1942 and BFV.
also i was shocked to find out BFBC didn’t have prone! will BFBC2 have prone?
Umm considering the first teaser, the artsy one. There will be prone, the sniper goes prone in the teaser. And I also hope that the regenerative health gets canned or as an option for servers in the PC version.
Yes, this cinematic trailer was awesome! I hope that minigun will do his job roperly (If you know what I mean).
Also I notised the vehicles had a new handling model, I like that.
I watched a video where Gordon was playing a multiplayer match.
I notised a something that resembles a parachute. AKS-74U has an iron sight!!!! Hurray! Could this mean that all weapons will be aimed properly? I also notised He killed 3 people – 1 with AKS and 2 with m24 sniper. Kill cam is a good thing. The menus are looking a bit confusing for now. And the ATV has a great handling, not like in the first one witch felt like low gravity or something. I also notised that ATV has the ability to crush steel fences and destroy sand bag cover … I think that’s no good. And I think he chose whitch team mate he wanted to spawn on?
I like the regeneration ability, but as long as it is not instant)))
E3 is very near, time is soo slow…
oh uh…gustav i hope DICE remeber the BF2 blackhawk. it went from having uber overpowered guns (splash damage of 3) which people would TK for just to use, to uber underpowered guns (splash damage of 0.25) which made no one ever use them. finaly after all these years in beta patch 1.5 they been upped a bit but this is a big example of what people say is typical DICE balancing…..not to sound rude ….but i hope things have improved in dice so problems like this dont happen again in future BF games.
I also hope that many guys from BF2 are working on BC 2, because I think they learned a lot about balancing a mp game.
It’s ALL about balance when playing online, this is the prime target a developer should have.
Without proper balance everybody will use the “imba” tools giving an advantage from start on you hop into a game and by this it starts to take the fun of working on skill and creating a learning curve away from the others.
We never had it in BC1 so we havent taken anything “out” of Battlefield 1943, thats all I can say. I cant comment on BC2′s situation right now since I’m not on that project even if I play it a lot.
Prone might not be an option for consoles, maybe because there is no button to assign left for it?
Prone is something every PC player wants to have.
Snipers, heavy Machine gunners, both use prone to stabilize their guns and melts them more with the ground to maintain low visibility.
I know that in the upcoming patch 1.5 for BF2, going prone in a close combat situation will be punished with loosing aim, like it is already used in BF2142 – nobody uses the prone position there when engaging a close threat.
I personally don’t know if I need this prone position, but not implementing it into an online FPS will bring up a huge storm against you guys in the BF related PC forums.

I wouldn’t count anything in the “artsy” trailer to be a feature.. just so you know =)

I think you can hide enough inside a bush as a sniper in Frostbite without proning =)
Must been recorded under the EA3 a couple of weeks ago as a warm up to E3.
i dont play on consoles but proning is a big part of the game to me, to not have prone in a BF game would be like not having side stepping!
really hope its in both BF1943 and BFBC2 otherwise its something thats going to really detract from the game.

yup i agree, PC users are not going to like no prone, this should probably be one of the things added in the 3 month pc improvment phase
