I’m not sure i like the bunker/bomber idea, so when they get in they can see all enemy locations when doing a bombing run (going from all the red arrows i could see everywhere)? i even notice that even after he left the bunker he could still see all the enemy locations (bug maybe)?

Also since you cant kill people who enter the bunker….whats to stop people jumping into it in the middle of a firefight or camping near the bunker until they start getting attacked and then quickly jump inside it to expliot the invunrability while you then drop bombs on whoever is waiting outside the bunker waiting to kill you?

The game isnt even in alpha yet so we havent started the real bug hunting yes so that will be fixed about you seeing enemies afterwards if that was the case.

A player can jump into the bunker at any time, but you are also a target after you finished your bombing run since everyone will know where to find you.
Someone standing still near a bunker are easy targets for a sniper or any enemy so I wouldnt advise it =)

well what i would do is snipe from near or around the bunker, i wouldn’t stay standing still waiting for it to recharge heh. when enemy comes for or you get hit and need to regen then just run and jump into it to be invincible. Then drop bombs on yourself killing all the enemy outside waiting for you to leave. plus you also get to see all there locations while in bombing mode giving you a big advantage when you leave the bunker.

I think it would be good if you could kill the person inside it with a grenade or something like how they used to clear out bunkers in real war.

It wouldnt work in this bunker since the player is busy flying the bombers and cant defend himself = no fair =)

And if a player does jump into the bombers while in a fight with you it’s no problem, there is enough time for you to run away from the bombs when you see where they are flying.

It’s hard to say much more, but this is something we have thought about and it works well on our playtests and the focus group tests we had.
I will let u try it yourself, probably the only way to convince many of how our gameplay works!

well the guy in the bunker should have to be aware of himself/area and keep an eye on the map for those close enemy dots and then quickly exit the bunker to defend himself….thats fair suppose it also depends if you can exit the bunker at any time and also if you can stay inside or you get automatically thrown out of it after your bombing run.

like you say though i guess i’ll need to try it myself to be convinced of how this gameplay works…..so dont forget my closed beta invite hehe

I think the bombers is a good idea. Imagine if they had put artillery, you know how many ppl abuse the arty? The bomber bunker is a great idea because you still can help your team when they are getting beat badly. I have a question, will you get all the points of the ppl you killed. Say you killed like 6 ppl at a flag, will you get all those points?
