Heck I have tried that and many other things to get it working. The response time from PB is terrible. It really leads me to think about avoiding PB enabled games in the future. It should not be this hard to play a game. I appreciate the suggestion but if you google punk buster it is very obvious that there is a high level of un-reliablity and frustration not just in BF2. The funny thing was started after I updated the game to 1.41 I had re-installed it from my original discs and itplayed fine even online. Although it reminded me how strong the RPGs are lol. Maybe I will do that unistall it and play old version.

Updating PB with theur setup.exe usually resolves all problems for me. The game dosent update correct by itself.

In a totaly unrelated comment about this post, I am going to mention something for the PC side of development. After not having played BF2 in quite awhile I reinstalled it on my computer last night. It played fine until I downloaded the patch. Then the problems began. No starts, CTD and then finally I get it working again to be booted from PB protected games for having "Inconsistent hardware" This may be due to putting the game on my ext HDD but it should not matter. Now any PB server I try to join gives me a "shared ban" message. Going forward with the PC versions of these games use some other company other than Punk Buster. Ihave started a ticket and sent emails allw ith no response and its sad as now my game is unplayable. Anyway no where else to complain sorry do it here. Just very sad as I was having fun playing till it was ruined by PB.
